When we adopted our son Shawn, a year and a half ago we were concerned about a school for him, since we live in the KC. We really didn't want him in the KC School District When Englewood closed we looked for other Christian schools for other two teenage girls (who have since graduated) but could find nothing either the cost or distance wouldn't have worked for us.
Well right before school was to start I was going thru the Yellow pages, (not even looking for schools) and ran across Family Christian Academy. I called the number (expecting a recording) and Mrs. Rita answered. I could hardly believe it! The school sounded perfect for us! I was so excited I believe I called her like four times in one day. When I told my husband the cost we thought there must be a mistake, so I called her again and she said if you wondering how we do it so reasonable, we don't, God does.
I know God's work was definitely in this. Shawn is well loved and taught by everyone there and is improving tremendously.
